Oh dear, have just begun The Tender Bar. Am really having difficulty caring about any of the characters or their problems I’ve heard it picks up about 1/3 or the way through, but I’m not very optimistic the men + beer = amazing thing is just not working for me. Sigh way too I–need–a-father-figure-centric/I’m-drawn-to-the-bar-because-I-see-it-as-a-masculine-place.
